BLACKHAWK, Indianapolis, USA, 1929-1930

In 1928, the automobile company "Stutz" decided to start production of less powerful, so-called economical cars of the "BB" series, which a year later received their own brand "BLACKHAWK".
BLACKHAWK vehicles came with a 6-cylinder Stutz engine or an 8-cylinder Continental powertrain. Like all cars of the company, they had the main gear of the worm type.
The company tried to give "BLACKHAWK" the status of an independent brand, but nevertheless, buyers perceived these cars as one of the "Stutz" models. Despite all efforts, the demand was low. This forced the production of BLACKHAWK cars to cease in 1931.
