BALLOT 2LT / 2LTS

After the designer Ernest Henry left “BALLOT”, his place was taken by F. Vadier, who was to develop a new car, making it simpler and cheaper than the previous “2LS”. Vadier decided to create a car in the same 2-liter class, but limited to only one overhead camshaft and a number of simplifications. As a result, the car has become twice cheaper than before, with a high technical level of performance.
In 1924 a sports double “2LTS” was added to the standard “2LT” model, in which the valves had an enlarged diameter and were arranged in a V-shape, and the combustion chambers were hemispherical. Since 1926, both models were equipped with a brake booster.
